1. Because the natural gas chemical properties is stable, if it is not changed the original engine ignition timing, when engines are driven by CNG,  fuel(CNG) will appear beginning spot lags behind, In the cylinder,the  pressure increase rate is low, burning temperature is very low, the loss from transfering heat will increase, 

2.Exhaust temperature will increase, Thermal efficiency is low
